Every place has its unique story, and every space holds its own set of challenges. I thrive on finding creative solutions that ensure audiences are engaged and have a memorable experience. From conceptual design and big ideas to fabrication and installation, I'm involved in all aspects of exhibit development.
Even the smallest sign is an opportunity to connect with visitors. I keep this in mind with every wayside I develop. Blending interpretive writing with thoughtful and functional design is the key to creating these opportunities that connect people with place. I love collaborating with designers, artists, and architects to tell rich stories for big impact in the smallest of spaces.
The Art of Storytelling
Interpretive writing is an art. I've honed this craft through the years by telling the stories of the Civilian Conservation Corps, the Texas Pineywoods, German pioneers, karst geology, among others.
